Pasture and Plenty is a James Beard-nominated restaurant, market and catering business, providing a “Whole Diet” delivery and pick-up meal kit service. We serve high-quality, locally-sourced and prepared daily menus, frozen, ready-to-eat meals, cook kits and pantry items to individuals and families who are hungry for high-quality, healthy meals, but starved for time. We are growing and looking for someone great to join the team!

The Cashier/Server takes care of our community when they come in to eat and shop at Pasture and Plenty. You are enthusiastic about good food and are committed to great service. You are a great team player, who looks for what needs to be done and hops in to help. This position reports to the Front of House Manager and Shift Leads.

Core Job Responsibilities

• Provide efficient, helpful, and personal service
• Operate the POS system and handle cash
• Maintain a clean work space
• Proactively work to sell products in an innovative and engaging manner
• Deliver extraordinary customer service and drive customer engagement and sales
• Make it work every day! Maintains a positive attitude and energy level

Preferred Experience and Skills

• Experience in food service, restaurants, retail or events
• Ability to communicate with coworkers and take initiative
• Strong customer service skills
• Comfort with Point of Sales and online content management systems – and interest to learn more and train others as needed
• Passion for local food

Hours of work are flexible with the needs of the business.

$13-16/hr DOE plus tipshare (+$1.25-2.50/hr)
