Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in creating a wide range of baked goods and pastries from scratch, paired with strong planning, presentation, and time-management skills. Key Responsibilities:
- Create and develop a variety of baked goods and pastries from scratch, ensuring consistent quality and innovation.
- Plan production schedules and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines and customer demands.
- Maintain high standards of presentation for all products.
- Collaborate with the team to enhance menu offerings and introduce new products.
- Manage inventory and order supplies while adhering to budget guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Able to guide and lead the growing bakery team.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or relevant role, with a strong focus on scratch baking and pastry creation.
- Excellent planning, time management, and organizational skills.
- Outstanding presentation skills with an eye for detail.
- Growth mentality, with a desire to progress within a dynamic and expanding company.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Relevant culinary qualification is preferred.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
