Arnaud’s seeks an experienced Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. Arnaud’s, founded in 1918, is a family-operated traditional Creole Restaurant.
We are seeking a hardworking, positive team player who will supervise all aspects of the pastry department.
The candidate must be creative, self-motivated with a strong work ethic, must have the ability to communicate well with others and be a strong leader/mentor. Must be well versed in modern and creative techniques.
Candidates must have professional pastry experience.
Job responsibilities
Oversee and participate in the creation, preparation, production and baking of all pastries and desserts.
Ensure items are prepared according to recipe standards
Inspect food quality and preparation
Comply with proper food quality and storage
Job requirements
2-3 years of fine dining (or upscale) experience
Strong organization and leadership skills
Able to work in a fast paced/high volume environment
Warm, friendly upbeat personality/attitude
