As a Pastry Assistant, you will be responsible for preparing and executing all pastries, including the creation of all cakes, cookies, and other sweet treats. You will also be responsible for the maintenance of all kitchen equipment and supplies, and report any issues to management. Pastry Assistants are expected to be able to work quickly and efficiently while also following proper food safety procedures.

Requirements:
- Knowledge of pastry basics (including chocolate baking)
- Ability to work well with others (kitchen staff, wait staff, etc.)and communicate effectively
- Ability to follow direction from management as well as maintain personal hygiene standards
- A willingness to learn about food safety rules and practices
- A strong desire to become a pastry chef or a pastry chef pro-active instead of waiting for the opportunity
- Availability to work long shifts or overtime when needed
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

- Pastry/Baking: 3 years (Preferred)
