Passivation Operator - 3rd Shift

Occupational Summary:
The primary responsibilities of a Passivation Operator I is to passivate product according to the appropriate NADCAP specification while also following NHBB requirements
Duties and Responsibilities:
Follow NHBB Engineering Standard Procedures per 3S-5121 in the pre-treatment, passivation, copper sulfate testing, and all other required passivation passivity testing
Perform chemical etch operation as required
Work may be subject to audited inspections.
Recognize and report any irregularities as to defective parts, equipment, work techniques and/or quality of workmanship.
Diagnose and correct operating difficulties; may assist to replace parts on a limited basis. Perform daily minor maintenance duties relative to equipment used.
Maintain necessary records. Detect and report unusual conditions to proper supervisor. Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations. Keep work area clean and equipment in clean and orderly condition including promptly reporting to Team Lead any oil/coolant leaks and/or spills.
Assist with training of operators as required.
Perform other duties as required or directed.
Requirements:
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent
Job Skills:
Must be able to run all machines in a Primary subgroup (see below) independently including holding tolerances, and making necessary adjustments; with proficiency.
Abilities:
Ability to read and understand complex written and verbal instructions in English
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction) and maintain an understanding of the decimal system
Able to be flexible and respond to the changing needs of the organization

Note: Physical job requirements may include standing, use of hands to assemble and or carry out job functions as well as sitting, lifting, carrying, bending and stooping during the course of the job.
