Wiggle & Play is a new playground in Kenosha, Wisconsin! Wiggle & Play was created to be a hub where families feel comfortable bringing their children and building a sense of “village” by feeling accepted, encouraged, and connected with other families in the Kenosha area.

Wiggle & Play is an indoor playground focused on serving caregivers and their young children (0-7 years) in the Kenosha, Wisconsin area. Children are able to get their “wiggles” out by exploring a fun, exciting play area while caregivers are able to relax and interact with other caregivers. Additionally, Wiggle & Play seeks to provide a variety of class opportunities for both children and caregivers.

Job Details

As a Party Host your main job responsibilities will revolve around handling parties at Wiggle & Play. Responsibilities include the following:

• Providing incredible customer service at our check in counter, checking customers in, selling play passes, and educating customers about our facility and offerings

• Helping customers set up party decorations and take items to the car after party.

• Set up party room before parties, clean, organize and redecorate between party times.

• Monitoring and engaging with children utilizing our play area

• Keeping our play area and facility clean and tidy, including light and deep cleaning during parties.

• Send weekly contracts, follow ups, and other party communication that is needed (~2 hours)

• Tear down and clean after parties

• Helping plan parties for Elite packages as needed

• Maintain a flexible and open availability, where possible

• Identify processes in the day-to-day operations of the business where a change could have a positive impact to either efficiency or employee morale. Don’t be afraid to be vocal about ways you think we can improve; we are learning right alongside you!

• Develop and suggest new ways for children to interact with the play area and toys including but not limited to games, staff-assisted activities, crafts, art projects, and science experiments

• Interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner and be prepared to discuss our company philosophies, goals, and policies at any time in a positive light

• Maintain a welcoming and approachable demeanor. We will encourage feedback from customers and guests

• Review and become knowledgeable on our play-area pass options as well as our party and event packages. Parties are special and parents often need reassurance that we will be able to provide their child with a truly special experience. The more informed you are on their choices, the more likely they will be to book a party with you!

• Volunteer for added responsibilities such as leading special events.

Wiggle & Play is a family friendly company that values work-life balance and we strive to create a great atmosphere for not only customers but employees. There are many benefits to working at Wiggle & Play including a free Elite Membership for your family.

• Part Time hours, approximately 10-20 hours a week. Hours are variable depending on party bookings but average hours will be 10-20 hours.

Hours that must be available for the position:

Friday: 4pm-8:30pm

Saturday: 9am-6pm

Sunday: 10am – 7pm

• Preferred experience working with children, guest experience, or manager experience, event planner

• Starting $12.50/hour

• Must be CPR certified (both adult and child) or obtain certification within 2 months of hire

• Must be able to pass a background check

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.50 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
