Salary```Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Parts Manager to join our team. The Parts Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of parts inventory management, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and distribution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Automotive or Power Sports parts and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.
Duties:
- Manage the parts department, including supervising staff and ensuring efficient operations
- Develop and implement strategies for improving parts inventory management
- Utilize order management systems to track and manage parts orders
- Collaborate with the demand planning team to forecast parts needs and ensure adequate stock levels
- Coordinate with suppliers to source high-quality parts at competitive prices
- Maintain accurate records of all parts transactions, including data entry and documentation
- Oversee shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely delivery of parts
- Work closely with the service department to ensure timely availability of parts for repairs and maintenance
- Provide technical support to staff regarding part specifications and compatibility
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Power Sports parts
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in automotive or supply chain management is a plus
- Proven experience as a Parts Manager or similar role in the Automotive/Power Sports industry
- Strong knowledge of auto body repair and mechanical components
- Proficient in using order management systems and other relevant software applications
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Familiarity with sourcing OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts is preferred
