We are growing....and looking for a Parts Inspector/Cartoner. The Parts Inspector/Cartoner is responsible for the inspection and packing of cabinet parts, accessories and hardware.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Inspects Dura Supreme products to ensure each part adheres to specified quality standards and part specifications.
  • Verifies inspection of shipment according appropriate paperwork
  • Wraps cabinet parts, accessories and hardware in manner that prevents denting, scratching, or damaging of parts while preparing for shipment.
  • Labels cartons with proper move tickets and job number and places properly boxed cabinet on track for warehouse personnel.
  • Sets up daily shipments for ground carriers.
  • Assembles various cabinet parts using small hand tools, prepares them for the inspection process and repairs non-conforming products when necessary.
  • Participates and contributes to a Work Team environment and follows quality control checks.
  • Follows all Safety Rules and contributes to a safe work environment.
Requirements:

Required Education, Training or Experience

  • High School education or up to one-month related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Six to twelve months cabinet experience including inspection knowledge.

Preferred Skills

  • Dura Supreme Quality Standards
  • Able to use a tape measure in both standard and metric
  • Basic Computer skills

Shop Environment

Employees must be able to cope with climates; endure heat and cold conditions in the shop. Fast paced workloads and high noise levels are normal. Paint fumes and exposure to chemicals associated with an industrial paint department may be present. Personal Protective Equipment as required by OSHA will be provided by the Company.
