Parts Driver/Field Asst.

JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a Delivery Driver / Field Tec Assistant is responsible for transporting parts and materials from point A to point B. Their duties include loading goods, using navigation tools to arrive at the right address and delivering parts and materials to the correct address. Occasionally assisting plumbers on jobsites. Following the best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading a truck Customized pre-screening Communicating with dispatchers and other team members to make deliveries Meeting delivery deadlines Performing basic truck maintenance Loading and unloading cargo Tracking shipments and deliveries Obtaining client or customer signatures when needed Able to operate forklift SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: A valid driver’s license Knowledge of how to handle and strap down materials on bed of truck. Familiarity with using navigation systems Time management to ensure deliveries are made on schedule Excellent vision and hand-eye coordination to stay safe while driving Physical ability to load and unload heavy cargo from warehouse to warehouse and or ground level to top of building roof tops. Able to climb stairs, ladders, etc. Plumbing experience (not requiredeliable and responsible Parts Driver to join our team. As a Parts Driver, you will be responsible for delivering parts to customers and assisting with warehouse duties. Duties:

- Safely operate a company van or box truck to deliver parts to customers
- Load and unload parts from the vehicle
- Assist with warehouse duties such as organizing inventory and pulling orders
- Provide exceptional customer service by delivering parts in a timely manner and addressing any customer inquiries or concerns
- Communicate effectively with the warehouse team and customers to ensure accurate and efficient deliveries
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies while driving
- Perform heavy lifting as required

Requirements:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Experience driving vehicles such as vans, box trucks, preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as needed
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment is a plus

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
