Responsible for the daily transfer of parts and bulk items to satellite dealerships located in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut.   

DOT Medical Card is Required

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.
• Picks up and delivers parts and equipment satellite stores.
• Efficiently perform daily delivery routes to minimize delivery time.
• Unload and load truck each night. Turns in all paperwork.
• Securing all loads to ensure safe delivery.
• Verify that invoices and packing slips match product and quantities being delivered and received
• Keeps an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups.
• Communicate any immediate maintenance or safety-related issues to management.
• It helps maintain the professional appearance of the parts department.
• Handles basic maintenance of the truck including filling the tank with gas, checking oil, keeping it clean, and making sure required inspections are performed.
• Maintains a professional appearance.
• Must be able to drive long distances as this position consist of 90% drive time.
• Other duties as assigned.

 EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Prior experience preferred but not required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONs

• Valid Driver's License
