Form of workPOSITION SUMMARY: The Parts Driver is responsible for providing outstanding customer service by communicating effectively with all customers. Ensuring accurate information when delivering parts, providing estimates, status updates, and other information that may be requested.
- Greet and assist all customers with a friendly upbeat professional attitude, providing outstanding service. Assure assistance for any retail purchases (via telephone, email, in-person, etc.)
- Properly load the parts truck for delivery ensuring the most efficient and effective route and keep an accurate log of daily deliveries and pickups.
- Coordinate last-minute pickups or deliveries by communicating with the parts manager. Locate all parts within the department and maintain knowledge of use and installation techniques.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through efficient and timely processing of part orders within the guidelines of the company’s policies and procedures, and by checking parts availability. Provide high-level service to both internal and external customers.
- Verify prices and enter orders through the Reynolds and Reynolds system.
- Analyze customer requests for parts; provide parts information and prices as requested.
- Responsible for following up on back orders by checking with other sources to determine the status of orders and provide customers with current and accurate information.
- Sets up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick up as needed.
- Keep records of all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates, special order parts, etc.
- Establish a professional relationship with distributors, dealers, service centers, consumers, all department employees, and customers to notify them of parts availability and shipment dates. Provide updated information on pending orders.
- Collects payment from retail customers or obtains credit authorization as necessary.
- Follow all state and federal laws when operating a company vehicle.
- Conduct business in an ethical and professional manner
- Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

- Work experience in parts or a related field; dealership experience preferred.
- Demonstrate knowledge in our area of automotive parts.
- Eager to improve in a dynamic work environment.
- Strong interpersonal and time management skills
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills
- Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
