Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Entry Level Laser Doffer to join our manufacturing team. The Laser Doffer will play a crucial role in the production process by efficiently removing cut parts from the skeleton, deburring parts using tools such as Grinder, DA, Air 90, or handheld deburring tools, stacking them on pallets, confirming part quantities, and ensuring the seamless flow of materials to the next location. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Remove cut parts from skeleton (Metal Sheet) according to production requirements.
- Debur Parts using Grinder, DA, Air 90, or handheld deburring tool
- Stack cut parts on pallets in an organized and efficient manner.
- Confirm part quantities against production orders / laser nesting sheet to ensure accuracy.
- Transport pallets to the designated next location within the manufacturing process.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production targets.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
- Report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
- Assist in other tasks as needed to support the overall manufacturing process.
Qualifications:
- No prior manufacturing experience required; willingness to learn and grow in an entry-level position.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in counting and stacking parts.
- Demonstrated organizational and time-management skills.
- Team player with effective communication skills.
- Basic understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic computer skills.
Operating hours are 6 am - 4:30 pm Monday - Thursday. The 50,000-foot facility is climate-controlled.
