Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Parts Department Counter Clerk to join our busy GM Car dealership. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Parts Department, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the overall success of our dealership.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them in identifying and purchasing the right parts for their GM vehicles.
- Provide accurate and timely information on parts availability, pricing, and alternative options.
- Process parts orders, ensuring proper documentation and inventory management.
- Collaborate with other departments to fulfill customer requests promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized parts counter and work area.
- Handle customer inquiries and concerns professionally and promptly.
- Utilize computerized inventory systems to track and manage parts.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a Parts Department or automotive retail setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GM vehicle parts and accessories.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with computerized inventory systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
