SalaryJob Duties:
Delivering parts and supplies: Safely transport parts and materials from one location to another, following specified routes and delivery schedules.
Loading and unloading: Assist in loading and unloading parts onto the delivery vehicle, ensuring items are secure and undamaged during transit.
Verifying shipments: Confirm the accuracy of delivered items by checking the packing list or delivery order against the actual goods received.
Maintaining records: Keep detailed records of deliveries, including receipts, delivery confirmation, and any discrepancies in the delivered items.
Vehicle maintenance: Ensure the delivery vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition. Report any issues or maintenance needs promptly.
Customer service: Provide excellent customer service to clients or customers upon delivery, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license: A clean driving record and a valid driver's license are essential for this role. You must also be 18 years of age or older.
Physical fitness: As a parts driver, you may need to lift and carry heavy items, so physical strength and stamina are important.
Time management: Ability to manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules and deadlines.
Attention to detail: Precise record-keeping and accuracy in verifying shipments are crucial to success in this position.
Customer-oriented: Strong customer service skills to interact with clients and ensure their satisfaction during deliveries.
Familiarity with GPS and navigation tools: Knowledge of GPS systems and navigation apps to plan efficient routes and avoid delays.
