Summary:
- Delivers and picks up parts and equipment for the dealership
- Deliver and pick up parts at various locations in and around the local delivery area as assigned in a safe and timely manner
- Prepare, obtain, and drop off accurate receipts and invoices for all deliveries and pick-ups
- Ensure accuracy of deliveries and pickups, and obtain signatures for all required documentation
- Maintain accurate daily log with time and date records for deliveries and pickups made
- Maintain open, professional communication with parts manager, warehouse manager, parts personal, and other employees in order to facilitate complete, efficient deliveries and pickups
- Uphold basic cleanliness and maintenance of delivery vehicle, including but not limited to refueling, washing, clearing snow, removing trash, etc.
- Assist warehouse with parts picking, invoicing, shipping, receiving, shelving, stocking, and other duties as required
- Break down, pack up, and drop off dealership cardboard recycling as necessary
- Assist with general dealership cleanliness and maintenance
- Perform accurate inventory counts as assigned by management in accordance to annual physical inventory counts and cycle counts
- Turn off lights, secure vehicles, lock doors, and perform other closing duties as necessary
- Must have clean driving record, current Wyoming drivers license
- Must train for and successfully pass powered lift truck operator test
- Must operate delivery vehicle professionally and in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Violation of this requirement may be cause for dismissal
- Must represent Peterbilt of Wyoming in a professional and friendly manner in all customer interactions
- Must comply with all safety rules and regulations, and follow Peterbilt of Wyoming dress code according to these guidelines
- Must be able to read and interpret basic documentation such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural manuals
- Must possess basic math and reasoning abilities
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distant vision.
