NATURE AND SCOPE:
The Partnership Specialist reports to the Director of Partnerships and is responsible for building collaborative relationships with our partner family service assistants to ensure that all Head Start deliverables are met. This role requires a heavy focus on monitoring of services.
RESPONSIBILITES (including, but not limited to):
  • Collaborate with the Partner FSA (Family Services Advocate) to support school readiness plan, family well-being, and promote children's learning and development for the 0-5 Head Start and Early Head Start Program.
  • Support the delivery of quality comprehensive services in the areas of ERSEA (Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment and Attendance), Parent Family & Community Engagement, Mental Health & Disabilities, Health, and Nutrition. Monitor service delivery at all partnership sites.
  • Conduct Child Plus monitoring of all content service areas and generate weekly partnership reports.
  • Follow-up on compliance concerns and collect and review partner corrective action plans.
  • Collaborate with all content service areas to provide training and technical assistance to partnership staff, ensuring partnership staff operate in compliance with the Head Start Performance Standards, Head Start Policy & Procedures, and other applicable regulations across all partner sites.
  • Monitor health service area and ensure required health documents are stored in the physical and/or electronic file and all health mandates are met.
  • Conduct routine site visits to perform Health & Safety checks at all partnership sites.
  • Provide data entry support by entering applications and uploading documents to Child Plus for partner sites as needed.
  • Establish and maintain a good rapport with Partners to ensure a great working environment.
  • Participate in agency-wide activities such as Community Assessments, Self-Assessments, Strategic Planning, trainings, and professional development.
  • Collaborate Annually with the Partnership Director to review and update partnership policy and procedures, ongoing training, pre-planning, etc.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in social work, counseling, or related field with experience in case management and family engagement, childcare and advocacy
  • Skills in teamwork, communication, organization and problem-solving
  • Must be a self-starter and the ability to work independently
  • Must have proficient basic technology skills
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
  • Experience in Child Plus and Head Start/Early Head Start
Ergonomics: Sitting, bending, stooping, standing, 15% repetitive keyboard work, seeing, verbal communications, lift 25 pounds.
