The Role

The Partner Success Manager will work with GTM and Corporate Development leadership teams to support StarRez’s network of strategic partners, maximize the value of these existing relationships, and manage limited, measured growth in our partner ecosystem. The Partner Success Manager will maintain healthy relationships with a focused set of high-value strategic partners, ensuring shared customers are thoroughly supported and promote strategies for maximal capture of established partner economics. The Partner Success Manager will also own Partner Qualification within which inbound partnership requests are evaluated for strategic alignment. The role’s primary responsibility will be to enhance the health, transparency, and vibrancy of established partner relationships with secondary responsibilities focused on growing the financial results from established partners and limited, disciplined expansion in StarRez’s strategic partner network.

Role Specifics

  • Work Location: Remote, US
  • Travel: Up to 30%. This is an estimate which may vary and could fluctuate up or down based on business need.
  • Reporting Structure: Reports to VP Revenue Operations & Strategy

What You Will Own

Maintain Existing Partnership Health (~50%)

  • Oversee and manage relationships with StarRez’s existing Strategic Partners
  • Establish Partner health and financial targets, supported by regular performance reporting and KPI transparency / visibility.
  • Support thoughtful integration of StarRez and its Partners at conferences.
  • Ensure customers shared among StarRez and its Strategic Partners have clear access to applicable support channels.
  • Promote StarRez visibility through inclusion in Partner webinars, marketing material and joint presentations.
  • Maintain currency and thorough coverage of contractual Partnership Agreements.
  • Develop and maintain Partner contract database.
  • Enable Partner GTM teams with materials and/or training to effectively promote partnership value.

Maximize Existing Partnership Value (~25%)

  • Assist in the development of revenue forecasts and operating models for each Strategic Partner
  • Proactively identify and recommend strategies to increase the financial and/or strategic contribution of existing partnerships.
  • Audit and verify partner revenues to ensure alignment with established agreements.
  • Support Partner integration in StarRez GTM Strategy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive incremental value from existing relationships

Measured Expansion in Partner Ecosystem (~25%)

  • Develop thoughtful Partner Qualification criteria and request assessment process
  • Build database of inbound partner requests, with supporting scoring
  • Inspect inbound partner requests and categorize within strategic partner framework.
  • Assist in the development of Strategic Partner Framework and vectors for TAM expansion.
  • Proactively identify limited set of high-value, best-fit Partners for measured expansion

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of channel and/or relationship management experience in SaaS or Higher-Ed fields
  • Experience using Excel/Google Sheets
  • Experience building KPI reporting and compelling executive-level presentations.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce reporting tools
