Job Description...
Youth Support Workers play a pivotal role in the safety, growth and development of adolescents in the afterschool program (C.R.E.W). They assist adolescents with school work, coping skills and much more. As a member of the C.R.E.W staff, you will assist in the supervision and direction of youth, lead fun and engaging activities as well as participate in the development and implementation of the afterschool program.
This amazing opportunity allows Youth Support Workers to work closely with adolescents in a fun and creative space where good role modeling and positive life skills are needed.
What you will be doing to make a difference...
- Supervise and maintain the safety of children and adolescents between the ages of 6 and 18 years old
- Delivers services in a culturally competent manner
- Supports youth with developing daily living skills, coping skills and social skills
- Implement as required interventions associated with treatment and service plan goals
- Participates in de-escalation interventions of youth when required
- Provide transportation of youth to and from program and to recreational activities
- Acts as a positive role model for youth and coworkers, treating them with respect, dignity, understanding and fairness

Requirements
Credentials/Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree preferred not required
At least one year of experience working with adolescents
Valid MA driver's license with acceptable driving record and current proof of insurance and reliable transportation
Acceptable CORI and SORI
