- Enthusiasm for coaching clients and using Executive Function skills to transform lives
- Resourceful and have attention to detail
- Proficiency in communicating complex concepts in simple and sometimes creative ways
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients, caregivers, and colleagues through live meetings, virtual communications, and documentation of coaching sessions.
- A schedule that will allow you to consistently meet online with at least five clients per week for 60 minutes each, with brief check-ins between weekly meetings. Coaches will also be expected to meet with client caregivers for an average of 30 minutes a month. You will not immediately be matched with 5 clients but will build a roster over the course of your first 3-6 months of employment.
- A coach’s availability to be matched with a client is dependent upon their schedule during requested peak times which are generally evenings and weekends. If your schedule is too limited, we will not be able to match you with clients, and your scope for helping individuals to meet their goals will be limited. A good rule of thumb is to have at least 10-15 hours of availability throughout a week and adjust it accordingly as you are matched with clients.
- Clear and timely communication is essential for our clients and our company to run smoothly. In addition to the time spent in coaching sessions, our coaches follow up with clients between coaching sessions by text or email and maintain client notes on an online portal for all coaching sessions conducted. Additionally, as a virtual company, we rely on email as our primary communication method. Coaches must be able to check email daily and display a high level of competence for clear and professional virtual communication.

- We value candidates who have experience working one-to-one with individuals, preferably as a special education teacher, speech and language pathologist, school psychologist, counselor, general education teacher, or in higher education, with experience with individuals with ADHD and other learning challenges.
- Coaches are evaluated on the following core competencies: Executive Function Skill Development/Fandom, Written Communication, Active Listening, Facilitation, Productive Relationships, Problem Solving, Resourcefulness, and Flexibility.
- Coaches must be comfortable with technology, including Gmail and Google WorkSpace (especially Drive, Docs, and Sheets, GCalendar), an online database to track student progress, various study websites, apps, and web conference platforms, specifically Google Meet.
- Must have a quiet, dedicated workspace clear of disruptions for client, training, and internal professional meetings/sessions, with an internet connection stable enough for video conferencing (mbps over 40).
- All Executive Function Coaches will be required to use their cell phones for client communication, phone calls, and texting.
