Part-Time Video Production Intern - Marketing Services

Interns work as part of an internal and external client service team on a variety of "real life" projects. Each intern receives mentorship and support to help guide their success. A formal evaluation process rates performance based on the quality of work, application of knowledge, and ability to meet time constraints. Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting the Video Producer in internal & external projects, editing, and team collaboration.
Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist the Video Producer in creating long- and short-form video projects from start to finish for internal & external clients
• Assist with digital media campaigns
• Collaborate with marketing team
• Support the pre-production and post-production process including editing, logistics, filming, split scripts and/or graphic animation
• Utilize creative and alternative thinking skills to develop ideas
• Collaborate with the video producer to shoot and edit video content and implement detailed changes and feedback

Preferred Skills/Abilities:

• Videography, editing, project management, and sound
• Proficiency with Creative Cloud and editing platforms such as: Adobe Premiere Pro, Rush, etc.
• Experience with animation and AfterEffects a plus
• Maintain project deadlines, short and long-term
• Shooting and editing in the field working under tight deadlines
• Maintain file organization standards, develop naming conventions and adapt to future media asset management tools
• Attention to detail, accuracy, strong follow-through
• Takes pride and ownership of work and tasks assigned
• Should be able to manage multiple projects and juggle competing deadlines
• Ability to listen well, take direction and apply feedback immediately
• Must be able to self-direct in order to meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills
• Quick learner who can function well in a fast-paced environment and receive continuous creative feedback and direction
• Podcast and audio production skills a plus

Education & Experience:

• Sophomore or Junior student actively pursuing a degree in Film Production, Film Studies, Mass Communication or other related degree
