Part-Time Van Driver - Willamette Court Senior Living Apartments

Independent Living Inc. / SHAG is looking for a safe, responsible, and professional Part-TimeVan Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a reliable professional with excellent driving skills and a positive attitude. You should be comfortable driving a full-sized van and handling customer requests and concerns accurately and professionally. The Van Driver reports directly to the Community Manager and safely transports residents in facility bus, van, or other vehicles according to schedule.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle (full-sized vans)
• Safely operate and maintain all necessary paperwork for transportation
• Perform pre-trip inspection and make post-trip safety checks
• Maintain regular contact with customers and ensure their satisfaction
• Comply with all legal requirements and company policies
• Keeps records of who attended offsite activity (shopping, etc.) and ensures that all are returned to site

Skills:

• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other team members.
• Ability to perform physical job requirements, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling of up to 10 pounds, standing for moderate periods, walking, climbing stairs, sitting in vehicles, and ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Basic computer skills including email correspondence.
• Ability to use cellular phone for communication.
• Professional communication skills.
• Attention to detail.

• You must have a valid driver's license and be able to provide a current driving record.
• Driving record must meet our insurance minimum standard.
