Work hours are three Saturdays each month at the Waynesboro Walmart branch location from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Initial training period will require full-time hours, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
* $12.00 PH Minimum Starting Pay (negotiable depending upon work experiences)
* Valid driver's license required as work assignment could include other Waynesboro-area locations or possibly at out-of-town branches if needed.

Qualifications - ONLY THOSE WHO MEET MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR EMPLOYMENT
Applications and resumes reflecting proper grammar, sentence structure and punctuation skills are wanted.
* Teller experience would be ideal but is not required. One year steady work history handling cash and directly assisting customers is preferred for those without experience.
* A working knowledge of or the ability to understand debits and credits and general accounting skills would be beneficial.
* A general working knowledge of computers and moderate keyboard skills would be helpful. A working knowledge of Bankway would be a plus. A basic aptitude for math is essential.
* Necessary skills include organizational, problem solving, the ability to communicate effectively (written and verbally, in person and by phone) and to work independently according to Bank policy and procedure.
* Must present oneself professionally in dress and demeanor and be friendly;
* Must be able to work three Saturdays each month from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Primary Objective - To take care of customers to their highest satisfaction by delivering excellent customers service while following teller procedure and practices and to recognize that everyone is a potential customer. This means to know and be proficient in one's job by understanding processes and procedures, being aware of new and existing Bank products and services in order to assess customer needs, and contributing to a team-oriented environment (i.e. working in harmony with all bank employees). ALL job duties require strict adherence to applicable federal and state rule and regulations as well as Bank policies and procedures.
Primary Responsibilities - To work assigned hours and locations, if this varies. Duties include balancing daily after the course of accepting cash and/or check deposits; processing withdrawals; cashing checks up to a designated limit; accepting loan payments of any type; redeeming cash items for deposit or cash; processing cash advances on credit/debit cards; possessing a general knowledge of products and services to answer customer questions; selling official checks, bank money orders and travelers checks (if offered); knowing and understanding the requirements of and how to complete Current Transaction Reports (CTRs); promoting bank services and cross-selling bank products through referrals; operating network computers/software and other equipment necessary to complete a transaction; participating in on-going training; having awareness of competitor bank services and advantages of bank; having awareness of and recognizing when to report suspicious transactions/activity/situations to the appropriate personnel; and contributing to the general upkeep and appearance of their work location.
A Teller is a critical link between the Bank and our customers and carries many responsibilities. A Teller is responsible for providing a variety of sales and service functions, including making referrals; processing savings, checking and loan transactions; cashing checks and selling official checks. A successful Teller recognizes the primary responsibility of providing excellent customer service by understanding the job requirements and having the knowledge to confidently inform customers about the Bank's products and services and expresses a genuine interest in serving customers.
A successful Teller must read at a level sufficient to understand memorandums, instructions and teller-related forms; be able to write in a clear, concise and legible manner; have math skills to add, subtract, multiply and divide; be able to work alone or in a team environment; be able to work under time constraints; use good judgment and relate tactfully, respectfully and professionally with co-workers and customers.
Expectations are to perform all job duties and other responsibilities as assigned and to follow all safety rules and regulations.
Regular attendance according to the work schedule is necessary and essential as is receiving detailed information verbally, in person and by telephone. Extensive reading and computer use is expected the majority of the time.
