JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Survey Research Center (SRC) at The Pennsylvania State University is looking for self-motivated, reliable, part-time supervisors for our Academic Call Center.
Primary responsibilities include:
Applicants should enjoy working with diverse populations and possess strong interpersonal and motivational skills, and a friendly and professional demeanor. This position requires teamwork, excellent time management, communications skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Applicants must be available to address issues during scheduled calls times which typically occur during evening and weekend hours.
This position will begin immediately and offers a competitive hourly wage. Prior experience with academic research and staff management is desired.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters. The ASR is available for review here.

- Supervising and directing the workflow of approximately 10 to 20 telephone interviewers in accordance with academic research protocol
- Quality assurance monitoring of interviews and interviewer performance
- Interviewer and project training
- Answering, and directing incoming calls
- Acting as a resource for interviewers
