Part-Time Support Staff Professional - Autism and OCD Experience
Are you experienced in providing support to individuals with OCD and Autism? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to become an integral part of a young woman's life, assisting her in achieving her goals of independence, making friends, and actively participating in her community.
In this part-time role, you will work 2 days a week from 9 am to 2 pm, playing a key role in offering positive behavioral support and employing creative problem-solving techniques. Your responsibilities will involve supporting the young woman in engaging in her preferred activities, including musicals, theater, socializing, and enjoying coffee, both at her home and within the community.
Our Ideal Candidate will:

• Possess experience in OCD/MH and Autism.
• Have a passion for teaching and acquiring new skills.
• Demonstrate at least 1 year of caregiving/TSS/PCA experience.
• Exhibit reliability and consistency.
• Display patience and the ability to provide positive behavioral support.
• Think creatively and employ innovative problem-solving methods.
• Have experience as a job coach (CESP/ACRE).
• Hold a bachelors degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, or Recreation or possess a current NADD Competency-Based IDD/MI Dual Diagnosis Direct Support Professional Certification. Alternatively, CNA, LPN, or RBT certification is accepted.

The pay rate for this position is $35.00 per hour, and mileage is reimbursed at the federal rate.
