Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Development: Develop and adapt educational materials, lesson plans, and activities to meet the unique needs diverse learning abilities, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility.
- Individualized Instruction: Provide differentiated instruction tailored to the specific learning styles, strengths, and challenges of each individual in the special education program.
- Classroom Management: Create a positive and supportive classroom environment that promotes active engagement, mutual respect, and emotional safety for all.
- Collaboration: Work closely with parents, caregivers, fellow educators, and church leadership to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and alignment of educational goals and strategies.
- Spiritual Guidance: Integrate religious teachings, values, and principles into the curriculum, fostering spiritual development and understanding of faith in a manner that is accessible and meaningful to them.
- Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess progress, track growth, and adjust instructional strategies as needed to address individual learning needs and promote ongoing development.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Skills:
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities, preferably in an educational or religious setting.
- Knowledge of and commitment to the principles of inclusive education
- Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and patience.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate
- Flexibility, adaptability, and creativity in designing and implementing instructional strategies to meet individual needs.
- Commitment to upholding the ethical and moral standards of the religious community.
