SCOPE: As a Uniform Security Officer at DK Security, you will be responsible for the security and safety of our client's property and personnel. You will know all site-specific policies and procedures, and implement emergency response activities as appropriate, while providing superior customer service.

- 2nd Shift Monday-Friday 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m
COMPENSATION:
- Rate of Pay: $19.00/hour

LOCATION: Detroit, MI
JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Access Control- Ensure no unauthorized people enter the facility
- Patrolling- Walk the interior and exterior of the various buildings on site, keeping an eye out for security, safety, or maintenance issues.
- Mobile Patrol- Drive the security vehicle around the site, patrolling parking lots and building exteriors.
- Camera Monitoring - May monitor cameras on site property
- Monitoring Of the Lobby
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Must have either a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- May NOT have any felony convictions, and must be able to pass a criminal background check in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Must be able to successfully pass a drug test at the time of hire and randomly thereafter.
- Must present a friendly, positive, professional image to Clients, employees, supervisors, managers, and the general public.
- Must be willing to become CPR/1st Aide/AED Certified (prior certification is preferred).
- Must have your own vehicle and a valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
- Less than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years
- Less than 2 at-fault accidents in the last 3 years
- No other major violations in the last 3 years.
- Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit, stand or walk for the duration of the shift, including walking long distances, and possibly up and down stairs
- Must be readily able to respond to emergency situations
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
