SalaryOur Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) at JourneyLite of Cincinnati is on the GROW! We are looking for Part-time and PRN people to scrub in the OR. This is for day shift, Monday- Friday. We work hard and love what we do!
Care in the Operating Room for Bariatric, Spine, Plastic, Pain and General Surgery patients.
Duties andResponsibilities
- Effectively organizes time, equipment, supplies, and personnel
- Uses equipment effectively by anticipating patient and surgeon needs and providing appropriate care
- Confirms that proper techniques and procedures are used according to accepted standards of practice
- Assists in inventory of supplies, drugs, and equipment to maintain availability and stock levels in the pre/post-operative, procedure and operating rooms, and PACU areas
- Maintains order and cleanliness of the entire ASC
- Assists in assessing the physical and emotional status of the patient
- Provides comfort and reassurance to the patient and supports the patient’s right to privacy, dignity, and confidentiality
- Circulates/Scrubs in the Operating Room
- Assists anesthesia in ensuring they have the proper supplies and drugs.
- Remains prepared for emergency situations by knowing correct emergency procedures and location of emergency supplies and equipment
- Effectively follows scope of practice and AORN guidelines
- Laparoscopic assisting skills preferred

Requirements
- Current State of Ohio RN Licensure required for nurses
- Current training as a Surgical Technologist
- BLS required
- Experience in Operating Room required
- ASC experience preferred
