SalaryAbout The Job:
Pharmacist is responsible for overseeing daily operations of all pharmaceutical care services provided to all Mitchell County Regional Health Center patients. This position will supervise pharmacy support personnel, assure quality pharmaceutical care, inventory control, and regulatory guideline compliance, leading to positive patient outcomes.
The Shift: 10-15 hours per week
The Pay: Based on experience.
What We Need from You:
Education
- Completion of a B.S. or Pharm.D. in Pharmacy at an accredited college of pharmacy required.
- Iowa Pharmacist licensure, either by examination or by reciprocity, is required.
Experience
- One year of hospital pharmacy experience with supervisory experience is preferred.
- 3-5 years in a retail, clinical setting preferred.

- High degree of initiative and accuracy.
- Self-motivated with the ability to complete work with a minimum of supervision under rigid time constraints.
- Customer relations skills including meeting customer needs and establishing an exceptional service environment.
- Demonstrates sound business ethics.
- Working knowledge of computer skills including Microsoft office, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Detail oriented with ability to prioritize work.
- Interpersonal skills including building relationships and conflict resolution.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Capability to effectively understand customers and employees' inquiries.

Who We Are:
Mitchell County Regional Health Center is in Osage, Iowa located in Mitchell County, which has a population of 10,600 people. MCRHC is a 25-bed critical access hospital, including a Level 4 Trauma Center Emergency Room seeing 3,200 visits annually. The Surgical Services department performs over 1,300 procedures annually, including specialties General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Ophthalmology, Pain management, and Podiatry.
