Part-Time Retail-Appointment Assistant

Pampered Paws West Grooming is looking for a part-time Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have excellent customer service skills, be comfortable using computer programs, be organized, be able to schedule customer appointments and be able to multi-task. You will be the first point of contact for our customers and help ensure their experience is positive and memorable. You will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, scheduling appointments, processing payments, and selling pet products. $15 - $16 hourly

• Greet and welcome clients, providing them with information about services and products offered
• Answer the phone and respond to inquiries from clients, potential customers, and other callers
• Schedule appointments
• Sell and maintain retail inventory of pet products
• Maintain customer records and update databases with information provided by customers
• Facilitate payments by processing cash, credit, and checks
• Ensure the front desk is properly organized and stocked with necessary supplies
• Maintain a clean environment throughout the day

• Administrative Experience
• US Work Authorization
• Work a part-time schedule that includes Wednesdays and Saturdays
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Scheduling appointments and ability to multi-task
• High level of detail orientation
• Demonstrated customer service experience
• Flexibility to work overtime and/or weekends
• Comfortable using computer software
• Professionalism and diplomacy in all interactions
• Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
• Self-starter with the ability to troubleshoot issues
• Willingness to pitch in and assist wherever needed

Pampered Paws West Grooming is a busy pet grooming business. We pride ourselves on the care and attention we give to our pets and the service we provide to our pet parents. We have a high rate of returning customers and are bringing in new customers weekly. We are located in a desirable area near Surprise.
