Kumon is the world's largest and most successful after-school math and reading program which caters to students between the age of 3 and 18. Besides developing Math and Reading skills. It aims at helping students become independent self-learners contributing to the global community by providing leadership for the future. Working about 10-19 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Aid in the learning of Math and Reading.
- Grading worksheets. Answer books will be provided
- Responsible for the cleanliness of the center.
- Help students check-in and out.
- Communicate with students and parents
- answer phones
- Organizing the center
- Organizing the students' folders
Skills and Requirement:
- Enjoy working with preschoolers to build reading, pre-reading skills, and number skills using the Kumon method and materials.
- Must be reliable, responsible, punctual, professional, follow directions, and patient with kids.
- Must be available on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 3:00 pm to 7:30 pm
- Excellent communication and instructional skills. An ability to observe, understand and communicate with children.
- Providing feedback to the instructor about the student's progress.
- Kumon's experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of high school Math is preferred.
