Position Summary:

The Part-time Program Troop Manager will participate as a positive member of a team of professionals who are responsible for delivering the Girl Scout program to underserved populations in community-based troops. The Program Troop Manager will maintain responsibility for developing and maintaining relationships with community partners, while striving to transition troops from staff-led to volunteer-led.
Essential Functions:
Learn Girl Scout program curriculum and follow directives in delivering the program to girls.
Deliver the Girl Scout curriculum in an engaging and fun manner that inspires girls and prepares them for a lifetime of success.
Establish meeting locations and recruit girls to satisfy grant requirements and outcomes.
Maintain accurate membership records for each participant and provide written reports to the Director of Grant Programs as needed. Compile and enter data in electronic platform in a timely and accurate manner.
Manage community partner relationships under the supervision of the Director of Grant Programs.
Order and organize supplies and equipment for each meeting.
Communicate regularly with the Director of Grant Programs to discuss the successes and challenges of the program.
Must be able to comply with partner mask and vaccine requirements.

Qualifications & Education:
High School Diploma or GED.
Highly organized with ability to work independently.
2+ years of experience working with children and adolescents.
2+ years of clerical and/or office experience.
Valid driver’s license, use of a personal vehicle, and proof of current vehicle insurance required.
Knowledge of Girl Scout policies and procedures.
Skills in oral and written communication.
Skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and online project management software.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including some nights and weekends.
