This Part-Time position works– 3:00pm to 6:00pm, Monday - Friday. The schedule may vary, so flexibility is important. The pay is $11-13 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. This position is onsite at our center located: 207 W. Lancaster Rd., Orlando, FL 32809
The Preschool Teacher Floater develops a cohesive teaching team, coordinates the curriculum, and manages the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. The Teacher in this role should be high energy and able to work well with staff, students, and parents. You’ll have the opportunity to be a leader in the classroom, champion a team environment, and provide fun-filled learning opportunities while making a positive impact on the lives of children.

What You’ll Do:
• Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards
• Lead by example and encourage success through modeling and coaching
• Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to engage children and encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth
• Follow all facility policies and state regulations
• Maintain a personal and professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.
What We Need from You:
• Willingness to obtain DCF 45 hours preferred
• Must clear level II DCF background check
• High School Diploma and/or Degree in early childhood education or related field of study
• Minimum of 1 year of professional early childhood education or experience
• Effective in communicating with both students and adults to meet the needs of the children, effectively guide teacher assistants, and resolve parental concerns
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, and basic computer skills
• CPR, First Aid, and Fire Extinguisher Certification required
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for long period of time and Lift up to 35 pounds
• Able to stand for more than 2 or 3 hours.
• Must be able to use both hands consistently every day.
• Attends and participates in staff meetings.
