PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Takes photos of events and promotions for the Marketing Department.
2. Works closely with the Marketing department to determine the best locations for photographing certain aspects of the event.
3. Coordinates with other staff, such as event managers and coordinators, to ensure that all aspects of the event are managed smoothly.
4. Shoots photos of guests at the event or promotion, event decorations, food, hotel amenities, etc.
5. Communicates with clients throughout the event to ensure that they are satisfied with the quality of their photos or videos.
6. Shoots pictures of speakers, performers, or other attendees who will be featured in our marketing materials.
7. Uses specialized equipment such as a camera with high-resolution capabilities or a tripod.
8. Edits photos using computer software to adjust lighting, color, and contrast.
9. Performs all other work-related duties as assigned by the Marketing department.
Video experience is a plus but not required.

QUALIFICATIONS
Work Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of photography experience required. Experience with video is a plus.
Education: High School Diploma and/or equivalent combination of work experience and education.
Other Requirements: Must have excellent communication skills, basic computer skills and ability to solve problems. Must be friendly, outgoing, and be self motivated with a positive/ enthusiastic approach to all assignments. Must be clean, well-groomed, and have a professional appearance. Attendance and punctuality are an essential function of the position. Ability to work in a busy environment.
Must possess an ability to work with minimal supervision and make educated ethical decisions as necessary. Must be able to resolve conflicts and have effective communication skills with all levels of employees and be able to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment. Must demonstrate an ability to work independently, prepare detailed professional correspondence, memoranda, policies, procedures as well as regulations related to the employee's duties. A general knowledge of the Windows based computer operating systems is also required.
