Job Title: Part-Time Occupational Therapist for School in Middletown, CA
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team as a part-time therapist for our school in Middletown, CA. The ideal candidate will be committed to improving the quality of life for students with disabilities, as well as enhancing their ability to participate in school activities and achieve academic success. Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations of students to determine their needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions for students with disabilities.
- Collaborate with other members of the education team to create a comprehensive educational program that addresses the needs of students with disabilities.
- Monitor progress of students and make necessary changes to treatment plans as needed.
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure coordinated care for students.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid license to practice occupational therapy in California.
- Previous experience working with children with disabilities is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
