Part Time Neurofeedback Technician

Newaygo County Mental Health is hiring a Part-Time Neurofeedback Technician to provide sessions within the Newaygo County Jail. This role offers a unique opportunity to assist in neurofeedback sessions to inmates with addition disorders within a correctional setting.

Responsibilities:

Administer neurofeedback sessions to inmates following established protocols.

Maintain accurate records of sessions and any observed changes in behavior.

Assist in ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of equipment and facilities.

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support inmate well-being.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Associate's degree in a human services related field preferred.

Experience or certification in neurofeedback or biofeedback techniques advantageous.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effetely in a correctional environment.

Strong organizational Skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with EEG equipment and software used in neurofeedback sessions.

Understanding of trauma-informed care is a plus.
