Job Summary
Pittsburgh, PA | Sewickley
- *Short-Term Position* | 3 Months
- Start Date: ASAP
- Hours: The days/hours can be flexible but would like at least 3 mornings, 2 afternoons, and 1 date night. Something similar to: Tues 8am-6pm, Wed 8am-12pm, Thurs 8am-8pm; Guaranteed 28 hours/week; Position lasting for about 3 months
- Hourly Rate: $26-28
- Children: 3 kids (6, 4 and 11-months-old)
Responsibilities and Duties
- WHO/WHAT: Since Dad is a big Steelers fan, we won’t mention any names, but can you think of a legendary backup quarterback who immediately played like a starter? This snuggly family already has a rock star nanny they adore who’ll be going on medical leave; that’s where you come in as her valuable ringer. You’ll work three days per week, for three months, helping them with their three wonderful kids. The hours are flexible provided you cover three mornings, two afternoons, and one date night. The six-year-old daughter is in school full-time, and the four-year-old son is in school M-F for half-days, so you’ll arrive by 8 am to help Mom with the morning rush. Then, once they’re off for the day, you’ll turn your attention to 11-month-old little brother. The most easygoing baby you’ll ever meet, the little fellow has an enormous appetite and wants to eat everything in sight. You’ll keep the nursery stocked up and tidy, and be ready to hold, comfort, feed, burp, change, and guide naptime. While he’s sleeping, you’ll duet with Mom on whatever she needs. Typically, that includes laundry, meal prep, and general clean-up. On date nights with the big kiddos, you’ll go for bike rides, kick the soccer ball around, or make crafts by the fire. There are no pets, no allergies, and you will need to occasionally drive the older siblings to activities (a family vehicle is available).
