A lovely family in Escondido is seeking a Part Time Nanny for their 3.5 year old to start Monday April 15th. Care is needed long-term on Mondays and Tuesdays from 8am-12pm. The family is looking for someone who has flexibility to provide last minute (up to a 24 hour notice) after school care up to 3 times per month on Mondays and/or Tuesdays from 2pm-3:30pm for preschool pickups. The candidate will take a break between 12pm-2pm to return at 2pm. Those applying do not need to be available for the additional after school hours and are still welcome to apply if only available Mondays and Tuesdays from 8am-12pm. The child enjoys playing with cars, dominoes, and stacking toys. The family focuses on a positive Montessori parenting style and limits screen time. There is a large friendly high-energy golden retriever in the home who will need to be let outside/inside, however, no other pet care is needed. A great candidate will be active, engaging, and responsible.

• Start date: Monday April 15th
• Length of Position: Long-term, minimum 1 year
• Schedule: Mondays + Tuesdays, 8am-12pm (additional hours available occasionally on these days from 2pm-3:30pm)
• Compensation: $20-$23 per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assisting child with preschool activities from the week
• Driving child for school drop offs/pickups; furthest distance ~10 minutes round trip
• Light cooking for child
• Light housekeeping related to child
• Morning routines; waking up, getting dressed, making breakfast for child

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of paid professional toddler care experience
• Must be UTD on CPR certification or willing to renew prior to start
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be comfortable with large friendly dogs
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must have a reliable vehicle to transport child

BENEFITS:

• Paid federal holidays off, if they fall on scheduled work day

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
