We’re currently looking for a Part Time Nanny in Severna park, MD 21146

JOB ID 16289 - A lovely family in the Chartwell neighborhood of Severna Park is seeking an active and reliable Part Time Nanny for their 2 children, ages 4 years and 7 years old, to start Monday May 20th (possibility to start sooner). Care is needed long-term Monday-Friday 2pm-5:30pm. There may be a possibility for additional hours during the summer months when the children don't have summer camp. There are two friendly cats in the home, however, no pet care is needed. A great candidate will be dependable, encourage less screen time, be organized, and tidy.

• Start date: Monday May 20th, possibility to start sooner
• Length of Position: Long-term, minimum 1 year
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2pm-5:30pm
• Compensation: $25 per hour + gas reimbursement when driving children

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Driving children; extracurricular activities, park visits + school/summer camp pickups (furthest distance is ~10 miles)
• Encouraging children to clean up after themselves
• Engaging with the children in active/stimulating play to limit screen time; i.e. outdoor play, pool days at country club, etc.
• Folding laundry for children; 1 load per week
• Light homework help for 7 year old + practicing letters and writing name with 4 year old
• Light housekeeping related to children; cleaning up playroom end of day + after mealtimes, etc.
• Prepping lunches + snacks for children

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of paid professional childcare experience
• Must be UTD on CPR certification or willing to renew
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be comfortable around friendly cats
• Must have a valid driver’s license + clean driving record
• Must have a reliable vehicle to transport children
• Must be comfortable around water/swimming pools
