Job Summary
*Nanny/Household Manager Position*
- Pittsburgh, PA | Peters Township
- Start Date: As soon as we find the right fit
- Hours: Monday to Friday 8:15 am to 5:15 pm; Every other Friday is a day off; Guaranteed 80 hours over 9 weekdays
- Hourly Rate: $25-30
- Children: 2 kids (7 & 4 years old)
- Pets: Two big, friendly dogs
- Paid Vacation: One week paid nanny’s choice, one week paid family’s choice, 3 sick or personal days, 9 paid holidays
Responsibilities and Duties
- WHO/WHAT: Dear patriotic, ultra-organized, super energetic nanny… THIS could be the last job you’ll ever apply for because it’s truly an opportunity that can evolve into a lifetime role! Two accomplished entrepreneurs seek a whole-picture partner to jump in ASAP and provide them with high-level, hybrid support. You’ll work Monday-Thursday, starting around 8 am and finishing around 5 pm, and every second (dance!) Friday until about 4 pm. There are two kiddos -- one of each, ages four and seven. The seven-year-old will be in school most of the day, while the four-year-old is in pre-K on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings. They’ll get all of your attention whenever they’re around. That could look like arts and crafts, science experiments, baking, tossing a frisbee at the local playground, or other energy-spending activities. Household management is a significant portion of this hybrid role, and eventually -- as the kids grow and go -- it will take center stage. You’ll need to drive a lot in your own safe vehicle. In addition to chauffeuring the children and running errands, you’ll help with laundry, dishes, vacuuming, sweeping, meal prep, and letting out the two big, friendly dogs. There are no allergies, but this family tries to be healthy, and your assistance with grocery shopping, cooking, and encouraging the kiddos to make smart food choices will be appreciated. These parents are generous employers who’ll award bonus days off and other tokens of appreciation. The family would love a candidate willing to help dog sit while the family is on vacation and someone who’s open to offering date nights here and there.
