Summit View is seeking a Music/ Theatre Teacher for 20hrs/week at our Valley Glen CampusSummit View School offers a college preparatory program to students with learning differences who possess average to above average intellectual capabilities. A commitment to maximizing each student's potential forms the foundation of the school's educational program. Based on each student's learning profile, an individual instructional plan is designed to maximize his/her learning and incorporates participatory, interactive, hands-on multisensory instruction. At Summit View, students achieve success and graduate with the foundation necessary to thrive as young adults.
What The Help Group Is Looking for:
- Bachelors degree in Special Education, Music, Theater or a related field is required.
- Experience teaching students with autism and/or learning disabilities.
EXCITING RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Be able to teach music to elementary through high school class age students
- Put on a musical production once a school year
