SalaryRespected physician seeks a part-Time Medical Research Assistant to gather accurate, credible Medical Research and summarizing their findings to support multiple medical activities. This position would serve in a variety of research support, logistics, and administrative functions. This person is personable and detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience working in a medical or healthcare setting. In addition, interacting with patients in a warm, friendly and service-oriented manner is essential.
What You’ll Do
- Extract data from medical articles on treatment modalities across a wide range of clinical topics
- Maintain quality control standards to preserve the integrity of data and findings
- Schedule and conduct patient follow-ups
- Maintaining log of active cases, laboratory records and documentation
Requirements
- Part-time role: 8-10 hours per week
- Minimum in-office for few hours once a week, preferably Thursdays or Fridays
- Strong grasp of medical terminology
- Good internet research skills
- Nursing or biomedical sciences students preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
