Responsibilities (not limited to):
The Office Scheduler is responsible for coordinating appointment schedules, payments, and other patient needs and forwarding to parties responsible to medical record and insurance verification retrieval.
This role is the first contact with new patients and will need to be able to accurately enter and maintain their information into the electronic record.
- Schedulers pays attention to alerts set by internal staff to inform patients of any issues with authorizations or insurance.
- The scheduler utilizes e-mail and Adobe for sending out intake paperwork and consents. Also utilizes texting system for appointments by sending links to patients and may interact with patients through that system
- Customer service attitude is a priority—professionalism and compassion
- Responsible for closing out after shift
- Maintaining basic housekeeping for patient rooms between patient appointments (i.e. tidying up rooms and patient waiting room)
- Maintains confidentiality in accordance to HIPAA regulations
Looking to fill one part-time positions:
PM Shift- 1:30 PM - 5:30 PM - M- TH
On FSU Campus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
