The Part-Time Maintenance Technician works closely with the other members of the Maintenance Department to plan and coordinate the maintenance needs of the agency's properties and grounds. He/she will assist with all other maintenance needs as deemed appropriate by the Facility and Fleet Director.
Essential Job Functions:
- Respond to all assigned work requests in a timely and dependable fashion.
- Perform regularly scheduled landscaping and cleaning duties as assigned.
- Responsible for ensuring any safety concerns pertaining to maintenance are handled in a timely and appropriate fashion.
- Monitor, schedule, and track routine maintenance on all equipment used to maintain the lawns/grounds.
- Working outdoors to maintain grounds upkeep including seasonal maintenance; grass and weed cutting, mulching, snow removal, and parking lot repair.
- Ensures all work orders and requests are being documented and updated appropriately within eMaint system.
- Maintains a high level of customer service with all external and internal vendors through verbal and written communication.
- Special projects as needed.
- Attend all staff meetings, trainings, and seminars as deemed necessary by the supervisor.
