Our Food Services team is in search of people who are passionate about learning new things and giving our guests the best possible experience!

Job Details

- Involved in all aspects of training, with new and existing employees

- Communicates well with Managers and all Zoo employees

- Keeps a positive and professional attitude and promotes such attitude to staff

- Sets up event spaces for day of as well as upcoming events

- Prepares all equipment needed for daily and future events

- Leads staff through day off execution of assigned events

- Reads event worksheets and completes paperwork for daily assigned events

- Notifies management if low on any stock that will need ordered

- Sets an example and promotes exceptional customer service skills

- Motivates staff to complete their tasks to the best of their abilities

- Motivates staff to reach the next level in all aspects of responsibility

- Assists in development of new reward/recognition program ideas

- Exceeds all sanitation standards set forth by the Health Inspector and Management

- Learns and retains knowledge regarding temperature danger zones, proper date marking, safe food handling, and proper hand washing technique

- Helping to train and coach employees as necessary

Candidates must be able to take direction, work independently and multi-task.  Strong customer service and communication skills are a plus.  Work schedules include weekdays, weekends, and can include holidays.  Must have the physical ability to work on your feet and be able to walk the Zoo grounds for several hours at a time.
