Job Summary:
We are currently looking for a reliable Part Time and customer-focused Flower Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Flower Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the efficient and timely delivery of floral arrangements to our valued customers. The company provides the delivery van and covers gas expenses, making your primary focus on ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Timely Deliveries: Safely and promptly deliver flower arrangements to customers' specified locations, ensuring the preservation of the products' quality and freshness.
- Vehicle Operation: Operate the company-provided delivery van responsibly and in compliance with traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Route Planning: Efficiently plan delivery routes to optimize time and fuel usage, ensuring all deliveries are completed within the designated time frame.
- Customer Service: Interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner, providing excellent customer service and representing the company positively.
- Communication: Maintain open communication with the dispatch team to update on delivery progress, address any issues, and coordinate additional instructions.
- Documentation: Complete accurate delivery documentation and delivery confirmations.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections of the delivery van, report any issues promptly, and ensure the vehicle is kept clean and well-maintained.
Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid and clean driver's license with a good driving record.
- Reliability: Demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and reliability in meeting delivery schedules.
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to interact positively with customers.
- Time Management: Ability to manage time efficiently and plan delivery routes effectively.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate and safe delivery of delicate floral products.
- Physical Stamina: Physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of loading and unloading flower arrangements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role, especially in flower or gift delivery.
- Knowledge of local routes and areas.
- Familiarity with floral arrangements and handling.
