We're in search of a Fire Public Safety Officer to join our esteemed Fire Department. Reporting directly to the Fire Chief, you'll serve as a cornerstone in bolstering our department's operations and ensuring the upkeep of critical equipment vital for public safety.
Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering, receiving, and record-keeping of fire and EMS supplies and equipment.
• Maintenance Coordination: Ensure the proper upkeep and preventative maintenance of fire equipment, facilities, City AED's, SCBA's, and air monitors.
• Record Keeping and Administration: Assist in managing required paperwork for regulatory compliance, processing forms, and utilizing basic computer skills for documentation.
• Vehicle and Equipment Support: Coordinate maintenance of department vehicles and equipment, including minor repairs and servicing arrangements.
• Community Engagement: Assist in community events and school activities, delivering fire-related equipment to designated sites.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED;
• Any previous experience that demonstrates ability to fulfill the physical requirements of the essential functions; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Valid Texas driver's license with good driving record.
• Must possess or be able to acquire First Aid and CPR certification within the first three (3) months of hire date.
