Part Time Family Assistant Needed in Bellvue

Location: Bellvue, Nashville, TN

Compensation: $25/hour DOE

Benefits: Paid holidays, PTO, mileage reimbursement at IRS rate

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm + 1-2 weekends/month (advance notice given)

Household:

• An energetic single mother is looking for a caring Family Assistant for her 6-year-old girl who is on the autism spectrum and her independent 14-year-old boy, starting ASAP.

• Located in a peaceful residential setting in Bellvue, the family values a busy yet organized lifestyle, filled with sports, games, and compassionate communication.

Ideal Candidate:

• An experienced nanny who is passionate about engaging with children of different needs, including a neurodivergent child, and is knowledgeable in using trauma-informed practices.

• An active, safety-conscious individual who can proactively manage responsibilities, communicate openly with parents, and remain calm and flexible.

Duties:

• Provide transportation for the children to and from school, athletic games/practices, therapy, etc., and facilitate playgroups and outings as coordinated with the family.

• Occasionally join in family outings/activities, partnering with the family to provide support.

• Assist with homework and educational activities as necessary.

• Offer flexibility in childcare, adapting to the children’s changing schedules and needs.

Requirements:

At least 3 years of paid, professional childcare experience that occurred over the age of 18 (not for family or friends) with excellent references

• Excellent communication skills and reliability, with the flexibility to adapt to changing needs.

• Valid driver’s license with a strong driving record and willingness to drive for child-related transportation.

Preferences:

Comfortable with Christian values and capable of committing long-term to ensure consistency for the family.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
