Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

Job Summary

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time Faculty Positions in the Department of Computer Science for the academic year 2023 -2024. These positions are on an as needed, semester-by-semester basis. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

Teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the area of Computer Science.Teaching either face-to-face, hybrid, or fully online

Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.Required Qualifications

An earned Master’s degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Computer Science or related field is required to teach undergraduate courses.

OR

An earned terminal degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Computer Science or related field is required to teach graduate courses.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience teaching on-line or hybrid coursesRecord of past teaching at a at the undergraduate or graduate level in Computer Science, Information technology, software engineering or closely related fields

Background Check
