Job Description
This is a part-time position and the candidate will work less than 999 hours in a working year.
This position will serve as the Facility Security Officer (FSO) and Site Security Lead for the RMS Middletown, RI facility. Duties include:
• Oversee the site's NISP compliance to include: document control, classification management, Open Storage Area administration, maintenance of records of classified contracts, security clearance processing, visitors, GSA safes, cleared personnel, Facility Security clearance documentation; etc.
• Ensure compliance with company and government security regulations
• Ensure 100% Audit success on government inspections; conduct annual self-inspections
• Serve as a COMSEC Custodian
• Interface with the site's cognizant government security agency (DCSA) on a regular basis
• Serve as the Crisis Management (CM) Representative for the facility
• Utilize the security camera and physical access control systems to monitor and control access to the LM space
• Liaison with local law enforcement on various topics including the planning and execution of training exercises, and on-site support activities
Basic Qualifications
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
• Working knowledge of the NISPOM - including application
• Ability to interface with customers, management and employees at all levels
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be a proactive self-starter with strong initiative, exemplary planning and time management skills
• Demonstrated ability to work well independently, but function within a team environment
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and quickly adjust to changing priorities
Desired skills
• FSO Certification and experience
• Experience as a Security Representative supporting a classified program and/or a facility that holds a Facility Clearance
• Detailed knowledge of the NISPOM - including application
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint)
• Effective organizational, multi-tasking and prioritization skills

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Colorado Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $67,200 - $128,900. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $77,300 - $145,600. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
