JOB SUMMARY:
- The Facility Attendant is the lead customer service representative who ensures patrons and guests are welcomed to the SportsPlex and have a memorable, fun, safe and quality experience while in our facility.
- Maintains an “on stage” courteous and positive attitude both in person and with phone customers.
- Handles cash and accounts for admissions to facility for use of courts and turf. Certain exceptions may apply during tournaments or practice.
- Provides for equipment checkout.
- Generates new patron memberships through the computer system.
- Provides accurate information on program, tournament and event communications and registrations.
- Oversee the proper use of the courts, turf, meeting rooms, restrooms, and lobby.
- Enforcement of all rules and policies of the SportsPlex.
- Provides directions to local attractions, restaurants, hotels and other points of interest.
- Ensure the facility is clean and free of debris including exterior entryway, gym, turf, restrooms, lobby, dining area and meeting rooms.
- Assist with court/turf set-ups and take downs and other duties assigned by immediate supervisor or facility manager.
- Provides for the safety of guests and documents incidents, handles emergencies as they arise and ensures for the proper usage of equipment in the facility.
- Responsible and accountable for all reports, admissions and revenue while on duty.
- Provides accurate information and reporting to supervisor and other team members.
- Experience in providing quality customer service, good judgement and attention to detail in the work environment. Displays integrity, honesty and has a strong work ethic.
- Strong cash handling and accounting skills is desired.
